   wow.. just incredible… the A pillar let alone the driver’s cabin doesn’t bend whatsoever… driver is completely safe

   now now…dont say that. u will upset the ford fans. No ford is doing great…well now they are because the finally got slapped into reality. All cars today are safe…except for the chinese cars.. U cant go wrong with any of them.

   Yes toyota went upphill and volvo downhill because FORD ***** they cannot sell cars. Check the volvo v70,xc90,xc60,s80, and know the new s60 comes they are such safe. The volvo has always been safe. Lexus is safe 2009? Volvo has always been safe.

   how are they th ebest…accordin ihhs lexus is now the safest. with many standard safety equipment…yes i will give it to you volvo was the father of safety but there not any more…its 2009 things have changed..they went downhill toyota wen up hill thats how it goes. Lexus is recieved top safety pick for entry level luxury sedans.

    on october a tractor trailer cut me off and slammed against the medium and i rolled twice after that in my 99 4runner and since i had my seatbelt and i was in the 4runner i walked away from it. 4runner saved my life. no scratches. go toyota

    Last year I was in a really bad car crash, but I was wearing my seet belt and my 91 4runner took the crash so well I was able to walked away. If you wont a safe car get a 4runner. It saved my life.

    Haha, i actually wrapped my 03′ 4runner around a telephone pole to where the rear axle was about 2 feet from the front axle and it still started up. Great Car, got the same year, model, engine everything as my old one again and i love it.

    Toyotas are amazing aren’t they. I thought only the old ones were good. But look at it. The body and frame did absolutly no shifting or bending. American truck owners could learn from this. Toyotas are amazing machines and never quit on you. You Toyota owners are wise. The only three things that surive a nuclear blast are: Cockroaches, Twinkes, and Toyotas.

    He right i have a 2004 4runner and i already got into an accident skidding off the road in bad winter weather with the 2WD and the TCS off and when it hit the tree at 35 MPH the engine shut off and nothing the the car moved whatsoever and i did not feel any force on that crash what so ever
    did cost about 11,000 to fix tho
    same engine and ****** too
    toyotas are built tough
    look up “destroying a Toyota” from top gear

    Tests found out that electrical lines can short circuit during crashes igniting fuel lines. Thats why they are now designing it to detach just like your cellphones when dropped.
