Toyota 4 Runner

Hello, I have a very crappy 4-runner with 4wd and I want to go try to drive it in some dirt. I’m not looking for rough terrain of course, just a nice grassy area where I can do this. does anybody know of any places?

I see that those are my options for 4wd but how do I get into 4wd. When I turn it to 4lo it beeps to tell me I’m in 4 lo. My other option for the dial is 4Hi. There is no 2wd option on the dial so I am guessing there must be another switch somewhere? I don’t have an owners manual. I bought the vehicle used.

I have a choice to pick from one of these two. Both are Black, 4WD, and V8.
The Tundra is a 5.7 L V8 running 0-60 in 6.3 seconds, but is a pretty big truck to drive. Xtra Cab..Not a Crew cab.
The 4 Runner is smaller, yet easier to handle and turn than the Tundra. It is V8.
I’ll be starting my first year of college this fall.

It was slippery today in spots and I had my 4-runner in HI 4WD. What is the fastest you should drive in 4WD? I remember when I was younger it was like 30 mph but is that still true or maybe that was not right in the 1st place?
The main roads were okay the secondary roads were not, I was asking for highway. Maybe I should have taken it out of 4WD.

When I pull up the buttons, the seats recline to about 20 degrees. Do I need to remove the rear seat cushion to completely recline the seat? Is there anyway to make it completely flat?
